Events During the Day Artists at Work Throughout the day In the late 19th and early 20th century, artists came to Inwood to capture its remaining rural character on canvas. Local artists Diane Drescher, Elissa Gore and Andrea Cukier continue that plein-air tradition and will spend the day finding inspiration in the garden of the Dyckman Farmhouse, the last 18th century house in the neighborhood. www.dianedrescher.com / www.elissagore.com / www.andreacukier.com On the Farm Throughout the day Tour the Dyckman Farmhouse and explore what living in the country meant. On display will be a map from 1819, showing the farms of Inwood.
